Normally we’re at Sow’s Ear Studio on Saturday from 10:00a.m.-4:00p.m., but this past Saturday Rosemary and I spent our Saturday at Victoria Adamo Day Spa for their annual Spring House. Packing up my Jeep with Rosemary’s items and my items and setting up our booth Friday night before made our lives easier, so all we had to do was drive to Rotterdam, New York and promote our handmade items. Thanks to Victoria Adamo, they provided a six foot table and we were able to bring both Rosemary’s items and my items, some of which were placed on the table, some of which were placed on the shelf we brought.
Not getting our hopes up in making sales, we were more interested in promoting the painted items and crochet items. Meeting new people and visiting with other friends was fun on Saturday. By the end of the day Rosemary and I were ready for a long nap. Rosemary is also working on new product for her Etsy shop and hoping that her shop will be open by the end of June-July. Rosemary will be selling mostly painted candlesticks, glasses, boxes for the time being. We’re researching on how to ship the painted furniture and larger items.
